Bump to the top.
Original topic is somewhat misleading and probably why only 120 views.
Would be more effective instead of only about air bows, it would be about extending the deer season in the north zone which it is also!
Just a thought!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

I'm not sure I want to watch the video. When the opening screen talks about a ".45mm automatic"

I cannot get past that.

I'm good with it during general season, from the video it says air bow would not permitted during archery season up

how would you figure on that?
i've known a couple that got caught poaching/trespassing, and
they used conventional loud un-suppressed firearms.
the only reason they got caught is the main reason any of them
get caught.
they couldn't keep their mouths shut and went bragging around
at the big deer they shot.

i remember when suppressed firearms were legalized that everyone
was talking about all the illegal deer that would be piled up,
but it didn't happen then either.

"After re-evaluating a proposal that would permit the use of air guns and arrow guns to take certain game animals, game birds, alligators, and furbearers, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission has rescinded the previous rule they adopted in March and has requested staff to modify their recommendations and propose new rules to be considered by the Commission at their next scheduled meeting in August."
