Sadly, I would not recommend this establishment. Accommodations and hunting are well below expectations. During a 3-day stay, I never made it to a blind before sunup. You are at the mercy of a "guide" and the lack of communication was frustrating. Additionally, it was apparent that my cabin had not been cleaned prior to my arrival. Dirty linens, coffee in the coffee maker and expired refrigerated items left behind. Finally, lots of photographs of activity were received before I arrived but I failed to see any game during my stay. Mother Nature may have worked against me but this certainly seems like an opportunity for owner profit only.

Sounds similar to about 80% of the outfitters.

You really think 80% I've been on a lot of hunt and I would have said the other way 80% good and 20% iffy just curious what you base your 80% off of. I know there are bad ones out there. Not commenting about the outfitter you mentioned I have never heard of them

I base my theory on this -------- on a deer lease a hunter has between 150-- 400 acres -- just all depends ------- on that he shoots mabe 2 bucks . Mabe ---------- an outfitter hunts that same land saayyyy 4 days a week ( the weekend and one day during the week)-------- for 8 weeks,,,, that is 8X4=32 hunts/hunters 32 hunts divided by 2 bucks = 1 buck for each 16 hunts. You have a 1 in 16 chance of getting a deer ---- once the 2 deer are killed you have 0 % chance. Land just does not support more hunting pressure,, regardless of how well intentioned the outfitter is.

So it's a theory of yours I've been on roughly 40 hunts only on 2 was not seeing game a issue. I'm not real sure how you can compare a outfitted hunt to a lease but we each have our own ways of justifying our opinions. A. real outfitter would not over hunt his property's if he was in it long term for two reasons it takes several years to grow a strong balanced huntable population and second this day and time with the internet and social media he would be out of business in two years or less if 80% percent of his customers left disappointed no type of business could survive that. Again not saying there are not bad outfitters but I don't feel like it's 80%. I'm sure it's a lot higher percentage with day hunts but I don't real consider those outfitters that's more of a trespassing fee to use someone's property for a certain amount of time. Thank you for taking the time to explain

I started a thread a couple years ago about this outfitter. We saw 0 deer all weekend. He had us hunting 100 yards apart. Wanted all the money up front. Had us hunting out of trucks/old campers that were parked in the woods. We almost left early, but had nothing better to do. I could go on and on. Never met the outfitter either. One of the guys in my group contacted a game warden about this operation and they had an investigation going on at the time. Turned out our "guide" was a wanted man from Wyoming or Montana, and we gave the warden information about how to find him. Cannot believe they are still operating. I have used 3 or 4 different outfits since then and they have all been exceptional. Especially the ones on this site. I've been on hunts where we didn't harvest something. That happens, rarely nowadays it seems, but it does happen. But this was easily a scam.

That's literally the dumbest theory posted on this forum and there is a lot of dumb stuff.

yea, since I disagree with you it makes me a Libtard. There isn't anything rational to debate in your theory, you surely haven't been on a quality hunt with an outfitter and I'm guessing you haven't ever guided or run any hunts either, if you had done either in the past, you would know better than what you posted.
