This thing is tiny! It's my first Glock. Put a few rounds through it and cleaned her up. Very soft shooting for its size. Perfect size for pocket carry. My LGS got it in this morning and and I got it as soon as they opened, and I didn't get raped on it like I've seen people doing right now.

There was one in the classifieds for $650!!! It's a $400 pistol brand new, doesn't seem like they're that popular to pay that much mark up.

I've seen them recently for 399 at gt distributors in Dallas. Pawn shop in Tyler had some for 499. I'll wait til I'm ready to fork out the cash before I'll consider paying more than 400

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I can't imagine paying $650 for a pocket .380.

Gun shops love the impulse buyers...after all, they are the ones keeping the prices high.

I didn't pay but a couple bucks more than what GT is selling them for. I also picked up a Kel-Tec KSG I was looking for from the same shop at the same time. I didn't pay anywhere near what they are selling for on here or elsewhere. Stoked I got a great deal on both!

How much you end up paying for that KSG? I've found 3 local for 1050, but just can't pull the trigger on one. Think a buddy is about to though.

Let's just say it was a good bit less than MSRP which if I believe is $880!

MSRP is $1,224 on a KSG in Blk and $1,368 in FDE. (according to one of my distributors web site)

Not sure I agree with these numbers...they might be a typo on their part. Well what did you pay? Where you sworn to secrecy?

Okay I'm going to say it ...this gun is way too big for 380. 9mm would make sense but as of 380 it's so much bigger than so many others in 9mm that I'm sorry I just don't get this thing. Size to power is the reason I swapped my 19 for 30s. Same size uses the same holster 45 versus 9mm. A no-brainer

Compared to a Glock 26 or 27 the ONLY advantage the 42 has is thickness. Thickness makes a big difference for carrying but Im not about to switch to a 380. Im sure Glock is well aware the 42 has not been well received and hopefully they'll listen and release a 9mm version and maybe catch up to the Springfield XDS offerings. Heres a good review that shows size comparisons: http://beforeitsnews.com/survival/2014/01/new-glock-42-initial-review-2506512.html

Well received? Can't find em in stores unless they are marked up and back ordered for months. Gonna be the hot gun of the year I'd bet.
The G26 is too thick to carry all the time and enjoy it. This gun has the dependability of Glock and the size of a kahr. Win. I'll get a 9 when it comes out too but this is a win for Glock you can be sure.

It's popular because it's a new glock, not because it's a good design. I bet we see a ton in the classifieds in 6 month. Why carry an inferior round in a gun that is the same frame size as superior calibers. It looks like it's the same size a my shield. I'm pretty happy with 7+1 in .40.

This Mention "Glock 42" to anyone and the first thing they say is "why not a 9mm?". 380 carry guns are so 2009
