I have three bodies of water on my lease. What's the best way to scout? Sit close and wath one of them starting at dayligjt or wait till later in the morning and just stalk up them where I can see of birds are on the water?

Just drive or walk up to them and look. Hunt where the most birds are.

If you don't mind getting there early, It does help to watch at first light to see where they land though. Many times they land in the deep water and hang in the shallow water. In that case set up to hunt the landing zone, not where you see them

Check them about hour or 2 after sun up. Try not to bump any up. Remember this. Scout THE TIME YOU PLAN ON HUNTING THE NEXT DAY! If your evening hunting then scout evening etc.
