Due to the government shut down there is no hunting on Fort Hood aloud. I have been hunting since I was 7 years old with my pops. I don't know anyone around the area besides my army friends. I process all my animals myself and can do the same for you. NO charge. I don't have a whole lot of money for a lease but I am willing to do work or what ever else is needed just to hunt. I am currently getting a little extra cash from a meat shop in killeen. I process deer for them. I have been doing that for a week. And its killing me not being able to hunt. Please help me out. several area lakes have public hunting, corp of engineers and colorado river authorities,contact the local office for R&R, plus lots of national forest no to far from you
