I'm planning on hunting coyotes and bobcats on our lease this fall/winter. Anyone have any ammo recommendations in 223? Thanks.

if you are not after fur the 55 grain v-max is deadly but it is not fur friendly.for a fur load i would use a 68 or 69 grain match load for less expansion
Y,all hang on I'm gonna drive closer

I use 55gr Nosler Ballistic Tips.

There are about 3-4 companies like Hornady and Black Hills that have .223 ammo loaded with 60gr VMax. You will not do better.

I use Hornady 55gr sp in my 223. It shoots great in my gun and $30 for 50 rounds

55 gr Sierra Game King Spire Point Boattail out of a .223 or .22-250 will kill things much larger than coyotes. Old Skewl bullet that is still devastaing.
My 1:8 twist .22-250 now gets 75 gr A-maxes, becuase I can get them on target way farther than the 55 grainers. They were fun to watch on prairie dogs, I've got no report for coyotes, but I'm quite sure they'll turn the lights out and pile them up.

If you reload, you might want to try the Nosler 40 gr Ballistic Tip. It's a screaming little bullet that does a real job on coyotes. Possibly too light and explosive for pigs, but you didn't mention pigs as a target.

Any of the standard soft points will kill at reasonable distances. I was shooting hornady 55gn soft points out to 500 yards this morning.
The 65gn sierra game kings are very accurate
I was disappointed in the 68/69 match bullets on yotes. But the only time I used them was up close.
