Are you allowed in Texas to sell ammo in garage sale? We have one Saturday and wanted to see about getting rid of extra rifle and shotgun ammo. Thanks.

12 and 20, mostly 1990's 2 3/4 field ammo 4-7's lead. Ammo inherited from my dad I can't use waterfowl or sporting clay. If u go pheasant/quail hunting it would be perfect.

I would just be honest with the buyer about how old it is. I was on a ranch that had a stockpile of some really old cheap ammo. I was shooting it from a semi-auto. Had one shot sound weak then followed without much thinking time with a second. Bulged and ripped the barrel open with the second shot pushing the first one out. I am hesitant about shooting something I do know how old it is nowdays or how it was kept.

Personel Liability . I would never sell old ammunition and have the chance, no matter how slim of causing injury. Just my decision.

Wish I was closer, I'd swing by. Only other thing I can think of would be to card somebody that doesn't look old enough to buy it.
