Good neighbors. 3000+ acres to the south only quail hunted, 1200 acres to the west well managed. Not much other hunting around. There have only been 4 deer taken off of the place in the past 5 years, 2 cull/management deer, a 140's and a 150's. Its in an area where the deer population is really booming. There hasn't been much hunting done until recently. The taxes were around $500 last year with a CRP income of $6600.

How much time left on the CRP and what are the chances of a renewal?

100 acres of CRP has 9 payments left. The other 80 has I think 3. Both should be able to resign.

I went out and sat in a stand on the place last night. Saw about 10 does and fawns and a couple of small bucks. The foodplots are up and looking great! Camera battery was dead so no pictures, maybe next time. Its not to late to have this place for this season. Its ready to hunt!
