Welcome to the forum huntingtrailerguy, I don't know much about Henderson County, but I'm sure somebody will, so hang around a while. btw I'm going to move your post to Open Hunting Section, we try to keep the classified for selling and trading stuff. Again Welcome

The deer kind of depends on what part of Henderson County. I grew up hunting the Athens area and have seen some VERY nice bucks taken from around there. As for the hogs, they are probably there. If not, hold your breath and they'll be there shortly! What area is your lease located?

That's a pretty good area for deer. Haven't heard of too many hogs around there, but I'm sure there are some around. There's also a few straggler exotics in that area too. Some had escaped from the Toller Ranch (now Safari Waters) years ago. A buddy of mine killed a big fallow a couple of years back. He was hunting just between Poyner and Baxter. There's probably not too many, but hey, you never know.
Good luck to you.
