Hi folks,
Just a reminder. Tomorrow is the deadline to RSVP for the feral hog educational workshop in San Marcos on October 30. Cost is $20 and includes handouts and a meal. We'll have lots of great door prizes and will be providing 3 CEUs for Commercial, Non-commercial and Private Applicators.
If you have not already registered, at this point you probably need to call the office to make arrangements - (512)393-2120
Registration begins at 5:30 and volunteers will be on hand to issue the feral hog bounty and register participants for end-of-year prizes.
This is also a great opportunities for hunters to network with landowners!
Topics include: History and Biology of Feral Swine and Feral Hogs in the Plum Creek Watershed, Feral Hog Control and Management Techniques, Hog Out County Grants Program, and Laws and Regulations Concerning Feral Hogs.
Speakers include: Jacob Hetzel (Texas Wildlife Services), Jared Timmons (Extension Wildlife Assistant) and Nick Dornak (Plum Creek Watershed Coordinator)
Hope to see you there!
