I am not real familiar with these deer, but was wondering what type of pricing to expect. I probably could not afford a huge trophy, but would love to see if there are any good prices for a decent representative. Thanks for the help.

I hope they get pretty wild! I've only seen one at the places I've hunted. The poor thing was tame as hell. We rode the truck right up to him and he never budged. It thought it was a cow. It hung around with them all the time.

Would also be interested in pricing on a gold medal (a couple of them) if anyone has them.

The cheapest I've ever seen them is $3,000 at the Vaquero Ranch near Navasota: http://www.vaquero-ranch.com/

Most places charge $5,000 - $7,000 for big bulls.

Thanks guys. $3,000 is a great price. I checked their pics and they had some very good looking tropies taken. I would love to do a hunt sometime, but still can't swing $3,000 right now. Any body else any info. I know that 3,000 is very low, but I am just looking around. Thanks again.

We normally start at $3,500 and go up plus a daily guide fee.

Missed your chances about 3 years ago sold some huge bulls for $2,500 just to cut the numbers back.

Sorry but I just need to ask, why would you post that you have 30 animals that he CANNOT hunt and then rub it in but saying that he is 3 years late on a deal at 2500?

I have no idea on price, but it might not hurt to check with Glynn @ Koons Canyon Ranch. He took a very nice bull (or buck???) about a month ago and has great prices on everything else so he might be able to find something for you that could fit what you're looking for.

There is a pretty good herd at the 777Ranch but they are going to be on the higher end of the price range.

I have a two shooter bulls right now on a ranch in Watervalley. $5000 includes meals, lodging, guide, game care, and all. No extra fees. Would take $9000 for the pair if you bring someone to shoot the other one. Im working on getting my guide down there to take pictures of them, but he is out of town for a few days. Here are a few that we have killed in the past. I will post pics of the two that I have when I get them.
