NAVASOTA – The Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Grimes and San Jacinto counties area teaming up against wildlife predators. A seminar will be offered from 8:30 a.m.-noon May 11 at the Grimes County Expo Center in Navasota, according to Shane Jennings, AgriLife Extension agent for Grimes County.

Dr. Aaron Sumrall, AgriLife Extension agent in San Jacinto County, will present the program on coyote control, predator diseases and a feral hog update.

Registration is $20 if an RSVP is made by May 4 to the Grimes County office, 936-873-3907. Participants who have not pre-registered may attend for $30, payable at the door. Three continuing education units for Texas Department of Agriculture private pesticide applicators license holders are offered for the event.
