Probably the best American made target/bullseye gun ever! Just remember that it takes .38 special full wadcutter loads and not conventional loads for a revolver! You will probably have to roll your own ammo for it. It's not hard and quite enjoyable to do so especially for a pistol as nice as the Model 52. Have fun and enjoy!

The model 52 is a hand fit production gun from what is now a bygone era in American firearms manufacturing. Cast lead double ended wadcutters shoot wonderful in them. You do not need the more expensive and hard to find hollow based wadcutters as some might say. Seat the bullets flush with the end of the case and not a bit longer as they will get hung up in the mag if you don't. The 52 is built to take the X out of the 10 ring at 25 and 50 yds and they are shooting machines.
Uprisings started or quelled, tornadoes rerouted, elections rigged.

I've never owned one but I have shot a few, while accurate they had some drawbacks, limited rounds and power are the first to come to mind. The old Model 15 K-38's with proper attention to reloads were as accurate or better and were far more reliable and not limited to such reduced loads. They had some tough competition and their toughest competition came from the Browning-Highpower GP "Competition", while holding it's own in the accuracy department it was a dud in the reliability and round capacity department. I've got a couple of GP's and with proper loads their still number one in my books.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Parisite sounds like you quoted one of the websites I did some of my research on May be......but I didn't. I've just had a couple of them. Some may berate the 52 for capacity but why? It wasn't made for carry, capacity or power. It was made for formal bullseye shooting competition. You won't see a Glock on the line at Camp Perry either. Also the 52 is highly reliable if you pay attention to your reloading at the bench.
