No affiliation or knowledge about this group. Some big money so be careful. center, tx — Feral hogs continue to destroy property across East Texas, and they're only growing in number. Recent estimates of the pig population range from 1.8 million to 3.4 million in Texas. One business is doing its part to help keep the problem at bay. Wulf Outdoor Sports is offering prizes of up to $10,000 to whomever kills the most hogs during the Wild Hog Roundup. The contest will last from April 11 to April 21. They did it last year. It was kinda cool watching the leader board and looking at the pics through out the day.

They did it last year. It was kinda cool watching the leader board and looking at the pics through out the day. Were they able to keep it all legal? Got any idea what % was the toatl pay out was? I am assuming so. I just watched it online. I was to far away to enter. From what I understand the payout structure last year was just about the same as they are doing this year. They had pics of the first place team with the 10k winnings. I think over a period of 10 days all the teams together collected something like 450+ hogs, with the biggest being somewhat over 400 lbs. It was pretty neat, they had a video of them catching the 400+ lber with dogs. As far as being legal I think anything went, trapping, dogs, rifle, etc. They wanted all them brought in dead. Im sure with that amount of money on the line, there had to been a poly.

They would have to be dead or TAHC would shut them down.. Wonder if any of the meat was saved..doubt it.

yep, contest is for dead hogs.
Group trapping our places ended up catching the big one last year with dogs....should be a youtube video of it somewhere.
