Should've I let my 12 year old son shoot an 8 point buck that's wider than 13" (inside) this morning? He's never shot a buck.

I've seen 'em lose and I've seen 'em win
But I've never seen 'em quit.

Its too late now, but I would have let him shot a 6point that was 13" or wider. Its all about his first buck and he'll remember it the rest of his life. Plus he'll remember that YOU were with him.

That is more important to me than the horn hunters saying, let it walk!
