I have been trying out all kinds of new spots. They all have done well once or twice but they aren't big enough to hold big numbers. It's nice to get away from the main lake with the all the coots and ringers and crowds of people. Here's some pics from the last two days.   The GWT drake had something wrong with his bill. I'm guessing he was just old but it looked like some kind of bill rot. Any ideas on that one?

My daughter and her family live in Killeen. Every time I head there to see her I am deeply moved by the folks brave enough to wear the uniform of this great nation. Thanks for what you do. Great photos and glad you had great hunts.

He's a good boy but he's just a pup and he has a lot to learn. I wouldn't have been able to retrieve any of my birds yesterday if it werent for him. He's a good hunting buddy.

I didn't realize it but you can actualy see that stuff on the ducks bill in that 2nd pic. Nobody has any ideas? I tried to look it up and couldn't find much.
