You must act quickly to apply for this hunt. The six PVA participants will be selected by random drawing from among all of the completed applications that are received by the cut off date. Please distribute this application to your interested members as soon as possible. Feel free to make additional copies if you need them. I will need to have received applications by November 14, 2011 in order for them to be considered. You can either mail or fax (202-416-7639) the application to Mary Hobbs’ attention. A brief overview of the Vermejo Ranch PVA Elk Hunt:
Six PVA members will be provided with lodging, guide, and license fees.
All attendees are responsible for their own food costs; i.e., stocking the cabin’s refrigerator.
Hunters must provide their own transportation to and from the hunt (Raton, NM).
Hunters are responsible for their own travel expenses to and from the hunt.
Hunters are responsible for the processing and shipment of their elk meat (cost is usually around $250).
Hunters must sign a standard PVA liability release form.
The individuals chosen to participate will be notified the week of November 14, 2011.
