Were getting close to it being time to start hunting giants. Water temps are cooling and were getting closer to being a true Fall then Winter bite here on Ivie. Late fall/winter is my favorite time to hunt giant fish. I personally think the best chances for SAL size fish are going to be better this winter than next spring.

We have had 45 fish over ten pounds caught out of my boat since last December. Over 10 of those were caught in December and as you can tell I am a fan of fall/wintertime fishing.

I will be doing a limited number of trips this fall/winter that will focus on trophy fish hunting, using your electronics to find fish, using mapping to narrow target areas, and baits to target the fish with. I am going to concentrate more on targeting trophy fish and less on booking more dates.

I am a 100% artificial baits only guide. As always if you are headed to Ivie give me a shout and I will help you out with the bite whether or not you are fishing with me.

Give me a shout and come out and hit the water this fall/winter and well hunt a giant. I can accomodate morning and evening trips so you can get back to the deer lease.

Check out my website for more information. I am also going to try and add some more catch photos this week. I have been behind on updating the website. References available upon request.

Capt Howard answer you phone. I'm wanting to book a trip Nov 19th or the 20th. I need a bigger fish this yr. We need to go for 13lbs. My 10.84 from last yr not going to cut it. LOL

If it bleeds I can KILL IT

Well definitely try! I have the 19th open. Let me give you a shout back tomorrow as I can still barely talk from some surgery I had Wednesday.

Concho and Kennedy ramps are both usable. .
