Don't waste your money on either of those. The best budget scopes that are actually worth buying are by Primary Arms. TONS of positive reviews. I mean 1,000's! Check out their website. They have the best customer service I've ever received. I bought a used PA scope from a guy off an AR forum. It evidently was messed up. I called PA, told them the situation & they mailed me a new 1 even though I bought it used!

Got to agree with the above ! Primary Arms 1-4 are a nice scope for the money ! Might also check out the Millett DMS-1. They are teh same scope with different reticles and names !

+1 to Primary Arms, 1-4x. I loved mine, the only reason I sold it was I got a good deal on an Eotech and that fit my parameters better.

Burris fast fire reflex sights are OK

Primary Arms has good optics and even better customer service. Try it and if you dont like I bet they would let you return it. Worth a shot.

I've been to PA's shop- they are just plain awesome people. I had the 1-4 on my Spikes and it was a great optic for the money.

There's a youtube video on the 1-4. I have the 4-14x44 illuminated reticle on my AR. I'd of gotten the 1-4 but my right eye is crappy & my daughter will be using it as her first deer/pig gun.

Well there ya' go! If fits your needs & your price range. I'd try to find it somewhere other than optic's planet though. They'll sell you something they don't have in stock & after 2 weeks w/no shipping info. you'll find out it's now 'backordered' w/no ETA! It's happened to me & 2 of my friends.

Now your options for budget mounts are PA deluxe, PA extended deluxe(what I have) & Burris PEPR.

Another Brand to Look into is Vortex, they make some pretty good sights in your price range and thier CS is Top-Notch.
