I shoot a 28 inch draw. When I purchased the bow used it had 29 1/2 inch draw. I had the cams changed to 28" and the guys at archery country told me we didn't need to change my arrow length. It has shot well since the cam swap with 29 1/4" arrows. Yesterday I got some new arrows and accidentally had them cut to 29 1/2".

What is y'alls opinion on arrow length based on draw length?

I pull 29" and shoot 30" arrows. But I do that becuase I like my broadhead to clear the riser shelf. If I cut them the minimum length I would probably do damage to my bow based on where I have my rest set.

you really won't notice any difference in shooting between the 1/4 and 1/2.

You would pickup a tiny bit of speed if you cut your arrows shorter but with a broadhead I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Im just the opposite. I shoot a 29 inch draw and a 28 inch arrow. Whatever works for you allthough I dont reccomend people shoot a shorter arrow.

I shoot a arrow as short as possibe. Just long enough to work with my rest. Currently 30" draw with a 29" arrow.

Shoot the shortest arrow you can get away with. A longer arrow than needed will do nothing to help you.

Agree with above, but if you shoot a short arrow, get into the habit of curling your fingers around the grip. I sliced my forefinger to the bone with a slick trick not doing that a few years ago.

I don't go by DL, I measure 1" pass my rest at full draw.

Seen that happen a couple times. Was shooting a 3D course and had something on my rest malfiunction andnthe arrow fell off and the point of the arrow fell on my wrist. Coulda been a bad deal with a broadhead. If you are gonna cut em short be careful.
