Sucked! I sat out untill noon in the 35degrees raining nasty weather. I just knew the birds were going to start flying any minute. Well I didn't see a thing untill about 9:30. A pair of mallards came over the trees straight into my dekes. I thought I was about to get my first greenhead. Boom miss, boom- puff of feathers, boom- another puff of feathers. And the dang thing kept on flying. bang Only two birds that came in all day. Had a few groups circle but never commit. Last day to hunt up here in dfw an probably my last chance at a greenhead this season.
