American Disability Association Fishing Derby, (February 22nd-23rd 2007)
Participants: COA will assist with a fishing derby for physically disabled children and adults. Last year 500 disabled persons participated.
Location: Spring Lake Park, City of Texarkana, Texas.
Activities: Spring Lake will be stocked with trout provided by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Arkansas Fish and Game Commission. Fishing poles and bait will be provided for participants. Volunteers will be available to assist participants in catching and cleaning the fish. hing derby for physically disabled children and adults. Last year 500 disabled persons participated. .

April 14th 2007 Take a special someone Fishing

COA and The City of Texarkana AR weed and seed program will be hosting a fishing derby for fifty special persons at Bramble Park. Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will stock the pond with catfish and furnish the prizes at no charge so that all will catch some fish this event will be held at Bramble Park in Texarkana AR.


Challenged Outdoorsmen still has opening for participants for this event. If you wish to fish or volunteer please contact Inez @903-671-2437.
