I need your opinions. I've tried just one Gen 1 night scope from a popular on-line site (ATN 410) and did my research. Took it up to the ranch after sighting it in then decided to shoot it a couple of more times and it was a complete disaster. It was returned. The scope just would not stay sighted in. So, where do I go from here? There are the laser lights that are mounted to your fixed scope and some that site in front of your scope (night vision). Then there are the Gen 2 and Gen 3. I'm a civilian so Gen 4 is out. Granted I don't have disposable thousands so what do you think? What do I try next?

I have attempted a similar project. Left me with two options: Dream about it of shell out the cash for a name brand Gen 3. I'd like to hear if anyone has a good idea.

go to Scopesnmore.com I have the Night Optic Gen 2+ and love it. 440D? is the one I have. I can see about 700yrds. and if you put a small 1-AAA light on the barrel and widen out the light you don't need the lumar.
