possibly, but getting ahold of them would be probably be tough. i know for a fact that you would have to have a license to buy explosives. i better stop talking about all this explosive stuff.

people buy black powder everyday, but u have to have a license to havae an auto gun, i was just wondering if u had explosives legaly, could u blow up some pigs??? it would be cool.

In theory, you could pull it off, or make a homemdade claymore and do it that way, it would still be illegal though.

how would you blow them up? you would have to throw the explosive at them or make a land mine out of it lol. i talked to an old timer years ago, and he told me when they where teens they used to throw sticks of dynamite in the fishing holes and the fish would float to the top! he said it wouldnt kill them it would just stun them. back then it was easier to get. easy fishing if you ask me.

Put a bunch of tannerite right where you bait a spot for hogs, when they come in just shoot the tannerite and blow the hogs away.

As for the fishing you can also use a old telephone with the hand crank to do some quick easy fishing lol

you can do the old hand crank phone in private waters, but if you get caught doing that in public waters you get busted big time. we have a 20 acre lake on are land and it does work. works better for catfish.

when my grandpa was in japan, him and the officers went "camping" and they used dynamite to fish with. he said it was cool.


the "telephone" is still used today, when doing surveys they use one to check fish numbers etc. shocked up a 13# bass in lake austin this year... btw, its not a real telephone that they use.

they use electrofishing equipment thats disigned for doing fish surveys in water these days. back in the old days they did use antique hand crank telephones to do it and i have one that my grandmother gave me years ago and have used it in our lake. i remember my great grandfather telling me he used to do it when he was a teen and so i had to try it. there are usually two wires comeing off the phone. you get extension wires and hook them up to the two wires on the phone. hang one wire over one side of the boat, and the other wire on the other side. start cranking the knob real fast for a couple of minutes and fish will pop up. mostly small fish. if it doesnt work then the coil or resistor mechansism is bad.

a guy we sell wood too was telllin us about when him and ...some of the local law enfrocement (small town) had some dynamite to burn, they went out to one of the stock tanks around and threw a stick or two in, he had a camera that would take a bunch of pics a second set up on it. In the pics u can see the bottom of the tank... he said they found no fish lol.

On private property yes, as long as the landowner agrees to the method being used.

But on Public Hunting lands, you will need to check to see what legal means & methods are allowed to take feral hogs; not all legal means and methods may be used on each unit/area, some do have specific restrictions.
