Sorry for reviving this thread. Just wanted to ask, are gift cards a good gift? Or it shows laziness? I bought a $500 Cabela's gift card on sale for $450 for myself to buy a RMR sight on sale someplace else that Cabela's matched and gave me 10% off, so yes they're great
