I cant believe no one has used this one.
1. SHOOT MY 1st BANDED BIRD!!
2. Take smarter shots.. not waste any at stupid shots.
3. Be Safe.
4. Shoot a pretty canvasback drake again this year. So i can put it on the wall. Didnt last year because i was ignorant.

1. Get my girlfriend her first duck (calling it now, it's going to be a GWT on opening day)
2. Meet some guys off of here and shoot some birds
3. Have fun...
4. Stay dry..no falling over this year when it's 27 degrees outside.

I hunted with over 40 people last year... I want to beat that. Lookin forward to hunting several new places. I want to get in the timber and shoot some mallards in "the timber" Get more video, better pictures... I have some new spots that are covered in wood ducks...and I look forward to getting on them! Oh, I look forward to hittin the coast with my son! He has never hunted it! Boys, I am ready!!!!!  J.J.

I'm hunting flooded fields first part of the season, so I hope to get into some pintails.
Flood water from sulphur is so high right now I can't get into my timber spot, so I will be hunting "new" water first part of the season.
My main goal is to take good shots, be patient, and hunt with a few new faces.

1. Shoot more birds per hunt. Last year was 0.8 birds per hunt with 6 skunks. Only 1 limit last year and already had one limit in early teal this year.
2. Hunt with more people and new places. Last year I hunted with GR_Elliott, Fowldreams, Scooter, Macstar, Beer_Slayer, Hopedale, gacman, Zack, rusty, Gdogg and others. I will be on the Paris hunt and have a separate trip to hunt with Team Hillbilly out east.
3. Take better pictures. I really like some of the pictures posted up here, especially by J.J. and Sniper John
4. Get my daughter out at least once #1 is off to a good start. Only been on 2 skunks this year and my average is up to 1.8 birds per hunt #3 is progressing #4 might give up on

So I got to thinking about some things I want to accomplish this season.
#1 get out at least 3 times a week on average. My work schedule allows for 5 days a week, but I might be spendin some days just scouting.
#2 Pick out drakes. I've gotten pretty good. Last year I didn't shoot a hen till late in Dec. while I was in NM.
#3 Be patient with Cali. I blame her too much when 90+% of the time it was something I did or didn't do.
#4 Have fun and make memories regardlees of the situation.
.... so what are some of ya'lls goals for this year? I haven't been able to get out quite as much as I'd like to, but I have had some good 3-4 day in a row hunts. This season has been too slow for me to only pick out drakes, so I've been sticking to the "if it flies it dies" theory so far. Cali is doing great so far And I've made a ton of memories already and met a few new fellas too.
