Getting close boys and girls. When's everybody heading out and how long you staying? I'm working half a day Thursday, headin out around 2pm, and stayin through Tuesday.

Nothing wrong with that. I traded in days that I would normally take off for the rifle opener to get a little extra time with the bow.

I'll be down at my lease on Saturday morning and hunt that day... School bites.

I will be heading out Friday around lunch to scattering about 200lbs of corn in a dried up pond bed...and setting up a ground blind in the brush on the bank of it. Then I will head back to the apartment to leave the place alone for the evening, drink a cpl cold ones, and wait for 5:15 to roll around.

im going out Friday staying all weekend and going to try and make it back by Monday but now that i think about it i might be coming down with some thing that Monday and it might last until Tuesday

I have crew change on October 1st and on the 2nd will fill up the feeders and in the stand at 5 am!!! I will have 3 1/2 weeks to hunt!!! Good luck everyone!!!

I am leaving about noon Friday, hope to get in the stand Friday afternoon to shoot an Axis. Just the weekend for me.

LOL, he's on the no shoot list! WB has him at 3.5. Hope he can make it another year.

I will be leaving out fri about 4 and go to Fredricksburg til sunday at noon, come back to hunt Taylor co. sun night. hunt wed- sat night Taylor co., hunt sun the 11th in fredricksburg before I leave for the chaperral wma the 12-16 and back to fredricksburg 16th-18th. then take a vacation day to recoop and rest. dang I have a good life and a good wife.

Not sure about opening weekend because my anniversary is Oct 4th. Have not given up yet but momma gets the call on that one. But, I will be there from Oct 9th thru Oct 18th. Got a new bow yesterday. I will post some pics soon.

Working offshore does have it's advantages!!! we are now doing a 4 week on/ 4 week off schedule so its working out this year!!! Good Luck to everyone!!!
