I have two boys that played low through high levels of baseball, football and basketball.

My wife will say the worst youth sport is soccer. Hot, no shade, boring as heck.

I'd say they can all be the worst sport.

Baseball and softball games start late run late run long get rained out... typically hot but can be utterly cold with potentially no relief from the sun. Sometimes the kid you are watching is absolutely terrible and you feel terrible for him or her. It can be a beating. The higher age level you go the roster size will increase and the kid you are going to watch may not sniff the field. If you are watching pitchers only you might have to go to multiple games to see that pitchet throw one inning or maybe more. Get ready for a long long day or weekend as they start playing tournaments

Football can be much more enjoyable. However the kid you are watching may not play or see the field at all. So if that's important to you this could be a beating. Positive side is the games are usually on time and there is a running clock. And football if you were a fan is enjoyable to watch live at the middle school and high school levels.

Basketball which I do not like at all is possibly the best sport to watch. Again it is absolutely critical that the kid you are watching is going to be playing or it's a beating. To me the most enjoyable basketball is YMCA, middle school and high school games. Always on time games, running clocks and temperature controlled environments. However one caveat is club basketball at those multi-court locations is not a good environment or scene. The noise can be deafening and it can get dicey with adults losing their minds.

I think when I have grandchildren someday I'm going to feel this exact same way.

Girls' basketball and there is no competition. A high scoring game is 4-1.

Pass the gravy.

It’s gotta be soccer youth, teens or even professionals. When the DFW TV stations go Gaga over the World Cup I think I wouldn’t walk across the street to watch a match if it was free.

some people like silver and gold
I like brass and lead with a little powder in between
