I'm not sure that's correct. The trust technically owns the suppressor. Yes, the stamp is required when the trust acquires the item at purchase, but under the authority of the trust, trustees and eventually beneficiaries have access to the item. Removal from the trust requires another stamp though.

And even in normal, nom-trust cases of inheritance NFA items transfer tax free on a Form 5 to your beneficiaries.
