If they did right by you, that's all that matters. I have no personal experience but it seems every time there's a dealer thread on here, Grapevine always comes up as one to stay away from.

Congrats again, sir. up

I do not like Grapevine Ford, though.

My BIL has one. Rode in it a few times. Very comfortable and runs like a scalded a** ape.

How do you like those running boards? Are they low enough for easy access?

Buzz, I will say getting used to them. I am average height, 5'10 and they are definitely set up a little higher, are a little wider and have the "no skid" finish on them , as opposed to the standard F-150 running boards. Have bumped my shin 1-2 times so far so being a little more careful than normal so far with them....

Push switch located low and left of steering wheel which turns off the cylinder deactivation function while stopped with brake depressed. Thank goodness...

Does the 5.0 actually run on less than 8 cylinders? Or is it just the start stop nonsense?

Just the cylinder displacement at stop.

I don’t think that’s cylinder displacement. The Ford actually stops the engine when coming to a stop after a certain amount of time. Actual cylinder displacement is cutting off power to a few cylinders under power, like going from 8 cylinders to 6 cylinders.

Yeah, it's the engine turn off thing while at stop and brake depressed for 2-3 seconds.

That is exactly what I would get if buying today…engine trim and even color! Only thing I would do to it is get the yellow line in the grille painted black. I would love to have a Raptor but the Tremor package seems to be the sweet spot in Fords trim levels to me. I currently have 5 Fords and will buy another when I replace the one I daily drive.

Broke in the new truck this morning, running out to Young and Throckmorton counties, running in "Economic" mode there and back, got around 19mpg on highway only, factoring stopping, idling and going again on ranch and lease, total avg. was around 16.8mpg for the 295 mile roundtrip. Car ran flawlessly like a big cruiser; added bonus, got to put down two Allsup bean and beef burritos with taco sauce and washed down with a Big Red Tallsup fountain drink Ahhh, so good...

I'd have to pass on the big red but all in on the burritos.

Good looking pickup. The Coyote is my pick of currently available V-8’s.
