She likes to walk around in the back. There are plenty of trails for her to use, so she’ll be gone for quite a while on each trek. There was a resting bench for her, in what she regarded as the prettiest place in the woods, but a tree fell square on it a while back. I had a day with no chores, so I made a couple more benches from treated 2x4s. Danged heavy, but I can move them with the tractor bucket. Here’s one of them. She’s very happy. The other bench is in her garden. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/03/full-37680-447145-img_0907.jpeg)

Don’t go spreading that. I knew she missed her old resting bench, and she didn’t have a good sit-down place in her garden, so I made two benches. I had actually worked out a way to make a swing-out leg rest, like an ottoman. And a place for her iPhone. She declined, dang it. I was on a roll.
Could have made both bench seats more butt-friendly, instead of just flat, but didn’t think of it when I was making them.
