This next weekend, I will be in Window Rock, AZ at the Navajo Nation Sportsman's Expo. This event is put on by the Navajo Guide Association and most of proceeds go to the Youth Hunting Program on the reservation. I will be doing a seminar or two and visiting with many of my Navajo friends. If you are in this "neck of the woods" please stop by for a visit. Adios, Gary

Crap. That would have been fun, but I'm SW of Phoenix...a little far.

Crap. That would have been fun, but I'm SW of Phoenix...a little far. We'll miss you. Event is pretty small but you get to visit with everyone and see the bigger deer, elk, lion and bear taken through the years as all of the outfitters are there. Adios, Gary

It is an annual event. I have been going for the last 5-6 years. On Saturday evening, they have a banquet and auction where many of the "high dollar" permits are sold. There's usually one for bull elk and there are some monsters in there. Every year, it seems that they take one or more over 400". They will sell another permit for a monster mule deer and then permits for lion, bear and sheep. Adios, Gary
