We had an obstacle course that we ran three times, every week. The Coach was an ex-Marine drill instructor.

Yeah, I remember. Always got the red patch because I was a chubby kid and couldn’t do pull ups. Years later that would change because I also remember climbing those ropes with no mat and I also remember this ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/02/full-39697-446543-img_2102.jpeg)

Everyone taking the mandatory Presidential Fitness Test at school in P.E. each year? Going through a box of old stuff I stumbled onto a high school patch from my junior year. Obama discontinued the program in 2012 or 2013. Obama then introduced a “more inclusive” program with participation awards… today childhood obesity is common. If you point it out you are called out for body shaming. Our expectations have changed in so many ways… Obama was the first mainstream douche'acrat to go after the fat vote.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Yep everyone had PE, no exceptions unless you played football, etc. Plenty of fat kids nowadays shouldn't be this way but times have changed for the worst. Everyone is soft or has an excuse as to why they can't to any physical activity. Processed foods are a huge culprit as to why everyone is packing 50 extra pounds. Listen to Mike Rowe's podcast when he interviewed Vinnie Tortorich. Vinnie explains the food pyramid, when it changed to mostly grains. The opposite is true, it should be mostly proteins such as meat and eggs. Why did it change to grains? The federal government saw how good our farmers were producing grains, and grains were being exported, there was so much of it. Grains and sugar have made people fat, plain and simple. Follow the money.
