CO2 poisoning makes the most sense. To have killed all three (to include the dog). Easy to happen if all were sleeping and some form of CO2 present.

I'll go with Mr. Hackman naturally dying, he was 95 and supposedly fragile health as would be expected and wife and dog going out along with him as may have been planned. No thoughts of foul play, maybe evidence will come out at some point, i.e., pills, letter, etc..

Crimson Tide was my favorite movie of his. Great actor Excellent movie. He was great in "Unforgiven" and "Enemy of the State" as well.

The younger actors…not so much.
