Thanks Concho, the bullies wont pile on you.

Man, I hope they wouldn't, it is a game...never understood why folks cannot separate fun time from real life. It is entertainment, nothing serious about it.

I just can’t forgive the NFL players kneeling during the National Anthem, championing people who were committing crimes when they chose to fight law enforcement and died during their poor decisions, accusing law enforcement of racism and social injustice and supporting Black Lives Matter and the other “protesters” as they burned and looted cities all across America.

If people want to disregard their behavior and support them by watching them, attending games, buying merchandise or some other method, it’s a free country and that’s their right. It’s also my right to point out what they did because my memory isn’t selective for my own benefit of being entertained.

Anyone who thinks they are being bullied should look at the title of this thread and the original post. This was never a pro NFL thread. The only bullies I’ve seen have been the ones trying to make the thread about something it was never intended to be.

And your point is? I never said I’m a fan, just that I’m amused about yall that make a point to say you aren’t but can’t help comment multiple times on every NFL thread. You read so far into my post you must’ve been feeling pretty called out. Nice job searching my post history for something to make yourself feel better though

The NFL went woke and showed/show their true rainbow colors. They are as Target, Costco, Nike, Bud Lite, etc. to many of us = we are no longer consuming.

Nothing wrong with any of you guys still enjoying a football game, shopping spree or a running shoe. However, some of you need to get over being offended every time a person rails on the NFL or any organization --- because the incessant roasting of these entities ain't gonna stop.

To a small point I understand the bashing of the NFL because that is where the kneeling during the National Anthem started.
it is unfortunate that one Black POS named Colin Kaepernick who lost his starting QB position to a White QB decides to make it a BS race thing, then started the kneeling BS.
Also since the NFL is the most popular and televised sport, it got a whole lot more attention and bad press than the other sports that kneeled also!

The Hypocrisy of some on here is that they only bash the NFL, yet still root for pro baseball, hockey, college football and other sports that joined in on the kneeling BS of the National Anthem.
I also suspect that there are a few hypocrites that bash the NFL will also be watching the super bowl too!

I enjoy watching the highlights of certain key games on YouTube and tape a few of the playoff games so I can fast forward through the commercials when I do get around to watching them.
Yes I will be watching the super bowl mainly because our Cowboys will be playing and our huge favorites to win rofl

Okay here in the real world, I think Philly will beat the Chiefs by 10 points or more!!

Regarding Pro football, I have to quote Bob Dylan - “I used to care, but things have changed”.

I get it, but not all NFL players knelt during the National Anthem and not all of them hate law enforcement, some players who took a knee may have been pressured into it. The problem is that this entire "Defund the Police" "Racism" "Black Live Matter" stuff is being pushed by powerful people who apparently want the people of our country divided into groups of angry people...the question we should be asking is why they want to divide us.

Rest assured there’s no hypocrisy on my end. I hate all the professional sports organizations equally who engaged in this behavior.

I do watch less and less pro sports. Pro sports are all woke organizations. But so is apple, google, AT&T, coke and other things I use regularly.
There are many good men who play in the NFL, far more good ones than bad ones. Two Texas QBs will face each other in SB, both are good guys. The chiefs have Harris butker who stood up for his beliefs and didn’t back down.

I never turned on my IPhone and saw giant black lives matter banner on the screen...there's a difference. Let us not forget about this either.

Nope. Not my search Engine. You’re just trying to rationalize why it’s okay for you to support the NFL.

My point is, I don’t write off people because I don’t agree with the organizations business model. We all support causes we don’t agree with, in one way or another. Whether it’s directly or indirectly. I just think the good guys in the NFL far outweigh the bad ones.

There are certain players I like to watch. Mahomes is one. Hurts is another.
Landon Dickerson is a solid guy. So is Devonta Smith.

Mahomes has a chance to do something never done before.

It’s hard to watch an individual player with this on the screen. It is for me at least.

Some are happiest when they are unhappy. Make no mistake about it. Instigators find their way into many professions. NFL owners effectively blackballed Kaepernick for his racial divisiveness.

Edit to add: What Snakewrangler posted made me laugh.

Okay, if the commercials are for real, I'll be watching the entire game...glad I live 50 miles from Austin, because the liberals are going to be losing their minds.

It will throw them in a tailspin. The push back over frivolous and ridiculous spending is amazing.

The radical left had devised away to put through their agenda, worldwide, and ignore the "unevolved" American people. First, they lose Joe/Kamala and now the whole thing is being exposed and torn down. Tear it down! rofl
