My buddy driving, me in the middle, his little brother against window driving down a dirt trail on way back from deer hunt. Little brother blasted a hole through floorboard and blew out front tire of pickup. Windows were up and I could not hear for a week...I think that was when my tinnitus started. Wish I had a pic to share but it was pre-cellphone camera days. Left a gnarly looking scorch mark. Put the cross hairs on him and squeezed one off, he didn't even move but I heard the bullet hit something. Last thing I shot before that day was the 500 yard steel target and never reset the elevation. Put a hole through the feeder tube, but saved me from missing a deer the next day...
