yeah, not taking that shot on a trophy buck. Any other deer I would be shooting I would wait for a better shot.
If I miss my opp on the trophy, so be it.
This is thinking in my archery mindset...
With a gun in that situation, there are plenty of shots that will end in a lethal shot.

Draw a line from stubs red point to the origin(intersection of x and y). Anywhere on that line for me pending range etc. but more than likely wait. Basing my shot placement based off of the image shows you are shooting at a downward angle, I believe my shot will blow his heart out! Will exit chest, so most likely

I’m aim E3/F3 with bow, rifle E2/E3 is same in terms of wound cavity
