You sir have quite the collection!! I guess you like the A2? I’m making a couple pocketknives with it right now. I normally use O-1, but ran out and ordered some A2 to try out something different…also got a run of 2 blade trappers to do in W2 coming up

Sir,

I'm kinda like a drunk at closing time who wears beer goggles, if you catch my drift.

I have both carbon steel and stainless knives.........

For a while I was a player, or at least I thought so.

At one point I had 50 or so of Rick Menefee's knives.

I did a bear hunt on the 90,000 acre Pacheco Ranch in northeast New Mexico circa 2015, with Rick and Drummond Lindsey.

Rick made this folder for the Ranch Owner. It was the first Pacheco folder.

The shield is Petrified Walrus Pecker.

Although I am not a "Walk n' Talk" guy I treasure mine. Blade is etched A2

BTW,

I like both O1 and W2.

Here is an early TK Steingass forged with hamon.

I purchased several knives from Mike Williams who was an ABS Master Smith.

My understanding is that TK was a student of Mr Williams and he gave this knife to mike after he became an ABS Master Smith.

Mike gave it to me. Well, I did send him a penny!

I've owned a number of knives by TK Steingass, but that is a story for another day.

ya,

GWB

Very cool! I’m familiar w TK’s work and I’ve had several conversations w Rick Menefee! He’s a good dude and that oosik shield (walrus pecker in Rick’s words!!haha) is pretty cool!! He is a very straight forward dude and will tell ya exactly what he thinks, and I can definitely respect that! Great looking collection sir, and I enjoy your knife pics!
