Orange flavored. Heard someone talking about it. Have you ever used it?

Yes, tried some about 8 years ago and did not notice any increase in deer activities. I have seen best activity with the apple scented over anything else.

I like the way it smells personally, but can't tell a difference, but urban deer love it.....

I put some in my road feeder and it gummed it up. It's a spin tech feeder and it started not closing all the way. WD 40 got it working again.
I also didn't notice a difference to the deer.

The deer here don’t prefer anything fruit flavored.

Down in RGV we notice a difference. We don't buy it often so no issues feeding it in road feeders compared to regular corn

J&N Feed store in Graham carried it this past fall. I filled all seven of my feeders with it. I never had any issues with it gumming up or throwing. The deer and hogs seemed to like it. To be honest I'm not sure it smelled like oranges. I believe it was twenty five cents a bag more than the regular corn.

Distance is not the issue, but the winds can make it interesting!

I’d use Indian corn.
Draws them in from miles away and they stay at the feeder longer.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve tried the white oak flavored and the apple flavored. I think the apple flavored was favored by our deer. It was more expensive per bag and the bags were just 40 pounds. I went back to regular corn.

Where did you get that. Never heard of it in bulk or 40/50lb bags.

It's only available on a reservation. You have to get a permit and approval from the tribal elders.

That’s true, for the most part. There are ways to get it done through any Indian run casino, but it isn’t easy.

I have experimented with pretty much anything you could find on the walmart shelf. In my limited experience, the deer are weary of the artificial apple scent. I would not expect orange flavor/scent to make it more attractive.
