I would be very surprised if LBJ's hands are (were) clean. 'Way dirtier than Joe...just a helluva lot smarter.

I doubt any of the ones responsible are still alive...there could be one or two left, but they are probably in nursing homes. Maybe we will at least learn who was behind the assassination plot and cover-up. I would expect some push back and stonewalling before anything is released, these folks don't give up easy.

If something is going to be hidden from public view, it’s never been in a document to begin with. Unless it’s created by someone for a bargaining chip to be used at a later time. If LHO was working with some other entity I doubt it will be revealed in this.

I believe it is all there in black and white, if not we would not know all the other connections outlined in the Warren Report, and other FBI reports already released. If Oswald was actually a patsy, he was a very poor choice with his background. I have said many times, and I truly believe that the government doesn't have to be involved in the assassination, they simply have to allow it to happen, there are numerous assassins around the country at any given time willing to do evil. If you want to protect the President of the United States, you don't place all your SS agents in one vehicle behind the president, they certainly were not working the crowd on that fateful day.

I believe Johnson was scared crapless about JFK's assassination and had no involvement...this went way deeper than the elected government, this was the deep state.

IDK why this didn’t show up as a quote. Sorry. The deliberate actions / non actions of the Secret Service at the Butler rally are a great example of this.


Personally, I would love to know who was involved and the entire story. Unfortunately I don’t know if we couldm trust the non redacted classified versions of the reports to be true.

I had the honor of working with four former DPD officers who were on duty that day. One of whom was JD Tippet's partner. They all knew Officer Roy Vaughn personally and were well acquainted with the circumstances surrounding the killing of JFK and Oswald. All had no doubt that Oswald acted alone.

No, there won't be a letter or memo discussing killing JFK, but there will be evidence in documents that should give a pretty good idea of what happened...just curious, did Tippet's partner say why Tippet was alone that day? I assume they split partners up and reassigned some to the JFK detail, but I have never read that anywhere.

A search said the Oswald shot was 265.3 feet.
