You have a serious problem. A disease. Only cure is for you to give away half your collection. Send me the third from the right and you'll be on your way to a cure!

Nice under hammer.

I always wanted a Mowry, but when I finally found one to handle, it had too much drop on the stock for me, still they are nice rifles and Texas made.

Nice pistols.

Don't worry about it huntnelm. It's not a problem so long as you put an upper limit on how many you have.

(Right now my upper limit is seventeen. cool But that could change.)

By the way, I notice you have the acceptable minimum of two flintlocks - but only one underhammer. That imbalance should probably be corrected.

If you can't laugh at yourself, give me a call. I'll gladly laugh at you.

Nice collection, but Sir it is incomplete... I don't see a Mule ear sideslapper there grin
But a wonderful collection notwithstanding!

Which ones, if any, are Kentucky, Pennsylvania, or Tennessee rifles? I am relatively new to those types, and still trying to identify the differences!

Starting from the left, No.'s 4, 5 and 6 are in the style you asked about.

That style is more feminine, thinner and more petite.

Plains rifle are more masculine to prevent stock breakage.
