I would probably drive one if i was not so big and fat. A powerful midsize 4x4 would be great for climbing hills around my home in winter.

I’d likely go Tacoma, but I saw a Colorado AT4X the other day that looked really good

ZR2 and At4x are a better truck for the money if you use them.

I have Chevy Colorado with the ecodiesel for a company truck and it is sweet. 28-32 MPG. Can park it anywhere with ease (I live and work in Houston proper, so this is a big deal). 184,000 miles with replacing just a turbo boot and a transmission. I keep a half ton truck for a personal vehicle but unless I have to... I drive the Colorado. I am also 5'9" and 180 pounds.... if I was larger... I probably wouldn't like the small truck so much.

Like some of you guys, I cannot fit in a Tacoma.... back of my neck hits the top of the door opening. Think the last real midsized trucks I owned and fit in were my 88 and 92 F150s. 11-14mpg baby.

Those 88 and 92 F150s were full sized trucks. Same body as F250 and F350. Just lighter undercarriages.

I know it rust. It's just when you compare them to today's pickups they look like midsize models!

Jeep Gladiator Mojave. It's my second one. Frankly just a fun toy for me. Gets me where I need to go and hauls what I need to haul.

I had a 2012 model Tacoma I liked a lot, but we needed a bigger truck to fit all my wife's goods she buys. Just no room in the Tacoma for it all.

The only complaint I had was the width of the upper bolsters. They seemed a bit snug on my shoulders and felt like someone giving me a bear hug. And the overall feeling of being a bit cramped and too close to the door. And I'm not a big guy at medium frame and average weight.

Even with that, I would still have it, if not for my wife's needs. I liked it that much.

Drove a 2009 Tacoma for 4 years and then a 2014 Tacoma for another 4 years. Great little trucks. Put almost 100k on them with only normal maintenance. I switched to a Tundra when I bought a Champ 2200 Bay boat. I bought the boat in LaFayette and had to fill up 3 times with the Tacoma. I decided the 21 gallon gas tank was not going to work towing the Champ. MPGs towing the boat were minimally better with the Tacoma but range was an issue. While the Tacomas were better off road I really like the increase space and hauling with the Tundra.
