Well, you can’t have it both ways. Either they can do what they want, or they can do what you want. Do you want anyone telling you what you can or can’t do with your property? I am for property rights. Where I feel the line is drawn is when someone does something that seriously impacts other property that is not theirs. To me that infringes on that persons property rights. Grow weeds or whatever you want on your property I don’t care but keep it on your property.

It’s a choice to keep up your property. A choice which requires time, effort and money. Government should be set up to respond to public dilemmas. If they’d keep it to that, we would all be better off

I built our new home on a 2 acre lot and we have no trees at all but my neighbor across the road has about 20 trees and every time the wind gets up out of the north his leaves will migrate onto my property collecting in my flower beds, my patio and even in my shop when it is open. Should I ask him to come rake them up?

I put a fence up when we bought this place. The guy with the trashy yard threw a fit. He said it would detract from his fence right next to it...the white, plastic, "split-rail" style crap that was big in the '90s. My fence keeps a lot of his trash from blowing into mine, and...it keeps his little dogs from coming over and crapping, which is what I know he enjoyed watching and was the real reason he got upset. What. A. Loon. It's his property and he can do whatever the hell he wants. We quietly do whatever we think is best for our property, without asking for neighbors' opinion or approval. That tends to piss some people off.

I just wait until the owners of said dog $hit leaves and I remove with a shovel and launch onto their lawn. After a few times of scattered dog $hit across their lawn they get the hint. I`m pretty sure they know how it got scattered across their lawn and I would welcome a knock at the door to discuss why they let their dog crap on my lawn.

I have much larger acreage, so I guess he thinks my place is also his to do what he pleases. We have ask him to please keep his mutt over there, but you know how Democrats are..... The tumbleweeds grew without any assistance (fair assumption). The owner shouldn’t have to do anything.

There's not much you can do about weeds. Seeds can make it on to your property all kinds of ways. Dispersal can be wind, water, clothing, footwear, vehicles (trucks, farm equipment) you name it. Heck, hundreds if not thousands of invasives have been introduced into the U.S. Chances are you have more than a few in your pasture right now.
For the first time in 13 years, I'm battling Yellow Bluestem ( better known as King Ranch Bluestem), vasey grass and maybe broomsedge (hopefully some of it is Little Bluestem). I have NO idea where it came from, but the Yellow Bluestem has taken over (well interspersed) 90% of my open areas in less than a years time. The stuff is nearly impossible to get rid of. Do some research on it if you haven't already. It's a real eye opener. The Highway Department spread it everywhere and it's been here ever since.
Yes I'm guilty, I've been turning dirt.

Yes I'm guilty, I've been turning dirt. I had KRB on n my lawn 5 years ago . Only way to get rid of it was to pull or Roundup spray. Roundup took care of many big clumps of the hell grass. It took 3 months for the tifway419 to fill in and I pull every clump asap now.

That vasey grass grows in clumps, but has completely filled in a hillside of mine. I didn't realize that the KRB was encroaching in on the vasey grass. That vasey grass is thick and tough. But I'll be danged if that KRB isn't trying to choke it out! It's the battle of the weeds. Edit to add: That Vasey grass is about 5 foot tall now. I had some last summer top out over 7 foot! That some bad chit there.

No. Stuff like that is normal. I get leaves and such from my neighbors trees and don’t complain. I feel that many of you don’t grasp the magnitude of the issue I am describing. They can make a road impassable. There are probably enough tumbleweeds from a 320 acre field of solid tumbleweeds to fill your entire two acres 200’ tall with solid tumbleweeds.

I just wish he would respect my property like I do his, but that's not the way it is. I have two big dogs that run up to the mailbox with me every day and I have them trained to go up there with me and back and that's what they do. They have never been on his property or anyone else's. I guarantee you, if he saw mine on his property, he would shoot them and then say he didn't know they were my dogs! I just don't get it and wonder what goes through the mind of some people.

You want to manage an annual native browse planet and sue/fine land owners that don’t apply massive amounts of herbicides in the spring possibly killing the other native plants?
What root system and browse do you propose to replace them with?
I’m not a huge fan of tumbler weeds in the winter but no benefits to ridding land scape out side of fence maintenance

Tumbleweeds aka Russian thistle is not a native plant. I have never seen them get super bad in pastures that have native growth. Where they become a huge problem is on plowed ground that is abandoned with no cover crop. They take it over. You can kill them with herbicide, shred them before they get big and blow away, plant something else so they don't take over - lots of options. Being from the metroplex I am guessing you don't fully grasp this. I have lived in this area over 30 years and see it on a daily basis.
