Just got back from a 5 day trip to Montana. COLD!!! I had my 40 year old heavy thickly insulated boots and was comfortable in the snow. These things aren’t for anywhere South of Amarillo. There were 6 of us and I was the only one who came back from dog sledding with warm feet. Others were miserable.
I have various boots to use as needed. I’m 82 yoa and have been playing this game a long time. Generally don’t use them except every couple of years. Son in law borrowed them a couple of years when he had to go to Alaska. He asked me to will them to him when I die.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.
Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley, Rancher Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP
