Not all experience is good experience. Some guys had 40-50 starts in college, like Bennett, Bo Nix. Those additional starts didn’t really translate to additional success for Milroe, Ewers, Beck.

Here we go again. Just admit you were wrong and walk away. The statement was physically, not athleticism, or accomplishment....
100% both Pipe dream at best. He has a lot of potential talent but he has YET TO PROVE he can run 1000 yards in a season and stay healthy etc. like VY so ya he isn’t physically or athletically anywhere close to VY at this time. You can’t even compare the two. You want to use the Two games against teams that can’t even compete for a top 10 spot in FCS….to call him a 1rd draft today? Much less say he physically will beat VY rushing records…. lol You been sniffing refrigerate Here we go again, stick to the statement you made and nothing else. All you fluff doesn't help your argument One thing about it, SA's not afraid to double or triple down on stupid. Has no other option. He will never comprehend the physical side, he can’t he has no base line in any athletics. Of all the proven QB he picked to compare, he picked on of the rarest breeds to hang his hat on, pretty funny, He would been been better off with Simms

never played football have you? Did you even play a sport? IF cheerleading is a sport, then a resounding YES is your answer Bobo. If not, I hear he was pretty decent at co-ed dodge ball in junior high.

Nope same thing, you just have no clue what you are talking about. I get it. You dont understand what physically mean in teams of a QB rushing for a 1000 yards in a season. Manning has not proven he can physically rush the ball for a 100 yards, game in, game out, for 12 plus games. Vince young did. Very few QB’s have stayed healthy long enough to do it. Why it’s such a rare stat.

The 8 wins is not a very bold prediction. You need to add the Aggie's opponent in the Pop Tart Bowl to be legit.

Statistically, combined yardage passing/rushing and TDs, first is Colt, then Ehlinger, then Applewhite and Young. Colt and Ehlinger had the benefit of 4 years starting at QB vs 3 for the other guys so not exactly apples to apples comparisons.

Size wise he is right there with VY and he's still filling out. Remember watching the 2006 Rose Bowl Texas vs. USC for the National Championship, wondering why USC was not using Reggie Bush more? I truly believe that had they used Bush more especially on their last drive, they would have won. No, they where beat before the game, Vince was working on draft numbers, he was in pocket entire first half, as soon as it was time to finish it he took over It is obvious that you know a hell of a lot more about college football than I ever will. Having said that, IMO you are giving Vince Young way to much credit for he was dumber than a box of rocks, great college football player that did not translate into success in the NFL I doubt seriously that a guy that scored a 6 out of 50 on the NFL Wonderlic test had the mental acuity to come up with his own selfish personal game plan just to improve his draft scenario, then present it to coach Mack Brown for his approval and Mack say, okay Vince whatever you want, the hell with the rest of the team! https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...est-wonderlic-test-scores-ever-recorded/Vince Young also scored a 6 on the Wonderlic test. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/player/vince-young-23106/career-statsVinces passing stats in his 6 year, 60 games regular season in the NFL Total passing yards 8,964 TD 46 INT 51 YPG 149.7 RTG 74.4 Rushing CAR YDS AVG FUMBLES 282 1,459 5.2 21 1 Playoff game in 2007 Passing He was 16/29 138 yards TD 0 INT 1 QB Rating 53.5

With that said I never said he was smart that was his down fall in NFL. But he put TX in the NC that year, they keep him in pocket the first half and then turned him loose… was it by design to wait until it was too late to make adjustments or part of him displaying more pocket patience for the draft. Probably both but with out a doubt that second half especially 4th, he straight up beat USC with his feet. He passed first half, second half if it wasn’t there he took off. Completely different script than all the games leading up to NC. I just don’t think USC had a chance that year. Go back and watch the game, you will see what I’m talking about. But no, I’m not talking about his intelligence, I don’t think 5 VY’s has the same intelligence level as Ewers or Manning. I hope Manning wins a NC before he lives UT, but as of today he has done nothing special. Is he quick for a QB yes but there is no evidence he physically can hold up to running like Cam or VY did. Very few passing college QB’s have.

Very few passing college QB’s have. My only question/statement was why did USC not use #5 Reggie Bush more on their last drive, it was actually USC second to last drive. For some reason BoBo brought Vince Young into the conversation? Back to my point! Bush was having a great game, if they had him in there on that second to last drive with Lyndale White I think they would have gotten another first down, run out the clock and won the game. I am Glad they did not have him in there and ecstatic that Texas won!! Thank you Pete Carroll for being a a Dumb Azz!! Which reminds me of another Pete Carroll's terrible decision in super bowl XLIX. Seattle down 28-24 against the Patriots, Seattle has a second down and 1 on the 1 yard line of New England's with 20 seconds left in the game he chose not to let the Beast Marshawn Lynch pound the ball in and calls a pass play that is picked off ensuring the Patriots win. Back on Reggie Bush Bush finished the game with 95 yards on just six catches ave 15.93 per catch, gained 82 yards on 13 carries avg 6.3 yards per carry and also averaged 20.2 yards on five punt return How on Gods Green earth do you not have such a talented, productive weapon not in game ???????? With 3:08 left in the game and USC leading 38-33, they have a 1st down on their own 46 yard line. Reggie Bush not in or for the rest of the game? 1st down they run Lyndale White 3 yards 2nd down 2:25 left they throw a screen to incomplete stops the clock 3rd & 7 run Lyndale White gets 5 yards Now 4th & 2 yards to go with 2:13 left on the clock, run Lyndale he is stopped short.
