I have a 9422 just like that one and I must say it's one of my favorite guns. The 9422 is great but i have also shot a new henry model in .22mag that is just as good.

about 30 years ago I bought a Winchester 9422 in 22 magnum because I thought it would be great to have a 22 magnum. I then went to buy the bullets which were wayyyy too expensive to be an everyday shooter. Personally I would rather have a Winchester 9422 in .22 long rifle because it will shoot the more affordable ammunition. I still have the 9422 magnum and probably wont trade it but I have since bought other 22 rimfires but all have been in Long Rifle.
