Any good spots for lunch in Llano or San Saba? Have to run down to Fredericksburg Tuesday morning and thought I would go back via Enchanted Rock (where my gggf was posted with Highsmith's Co. D, First Mounted Texas Rifle Volunteers, 1847) and Llano, San Saba and Comanche.

Don’t know about a good eating spot in San Saba these days, but I’d go into Harry’s boot shop downtown. Not sure if they are open on Sunday, they were during Christmas holidays. The smell of boot leather when you walk through the door is refreshing.

Inman's in Llano (in the old Ramblin' Rose dance hall) about 1/4 mile west of Cooper's on hwy 29 on the north side. Not sure if they are open on Tuesday. Solid brisket, ribs, turkey and their famous turkey sausage. Great fresh homemade breads and pies too. I much prefer over Cooper's

Bar D Brewhouse & Restaurant in San Saba on hwy 16 about 2 blocks north of hwy 190 on the west side. A couple of years ago we met up with an old high school friend that worked in the bank, walked a couple of blocks for lunch and it was pretty good.

Mexican food at Pepperbellys across from the courthouse. Good reports on Mama J's located West of town on hwy 190.

Well after reading some reviews, I think I'll try Agave instead.

Ate there about a year ago, it was pretty decent. Wanted to try Pepperbellys but I think the reviews lead us to AJM.
