No. I don't get on China Tok, but a quick internet search on the subject only had 3 or 4 stories about Kay Granger being missing and they were all from far left liberal sites. It might be true, but based on what I saw, it seems fishy. Feel free to go down the rabbit hole though and let us know.

Saw this story unfolding yesterday on X (and not from a “far left liberal” account or site. Shameful that these career politicians stay in office until they end up in a home. She retired and will finish out her term, apparently, but she should have retired and resigned.

Biden, Pelosi, McConnell, Feinstein and any others who clearly have cognitive decline and have spent decades in office (and become millionaires, while they were at it) all suck. And I like Mitch, but he’s clearly declined health-wise the last few years.

Absolutely unacceptable. Maybe this will force them to look at term limits hopefully their constituents hold their feet to the fire on it.

Ok. I wouldn’t say she is a liberal. Her spot is holding a very narrow republican lead right now. I believe Dallas is in that district so I don’t see it staying red much longer.

It just shows Congressmen and women do so little work, it is not noticed when they are gone. On any job site I've been on, 15 minutes out from time due at work, we are calling the person missing. Government is probably 400% too fat, at minimum.

The people of the district she is supposed to be representing should be outraged.

Given her long tenure and the typical congressional pension structure, it's likely her retirement benefits would be over $250,000 annually.

If she’s really incapable of the position, no it’s not the most ethical thing to have her there, but the way the liberals conduct themselves sometimes getting dirty is part of political chess. I know that’s rationalizing being wrong, but this is a war as far as I’m concerned.

Term limits are enticing, but I don’t know if they’re the answer. I’m not saying I have the newer, but I don’t know if term limits or age limits are it. But I hate all of them, even the ones I vote for or actually like.

This is one of our leaders...doesn't give me much faith in the US Political system, these folks all need dementia testing when elected or re-elected.

I only see this story in some like really unknown news sources, the facility she is supposedly living in shows to be high class for $4000.00 a month, I can tell you for fact that 4000 a month won't get you high class care in a really nice facility, at least not in my recent experience.

She seems fine.

The problem is she should have resigned. None of them do the right thing. She’s collecting a salary, staff salary and not representing anyone. Should have resigned over a year ago, forced a special election.

While that may be true she is certainly not living in a demented state confined to a home and missing as reported. That is as big or a bigger problem when media (left or right) can quickly and easily delude a bunch of people. The left and the right are both guilty of this to the point where i don't believe any news report regardless of the source. Trump, Vance, Biden, Harris etc.. - The reports are all full of #$%@.

And regards to the right thing - She actually did basically resign. She announced in 2023 she was not running for re-election and directed the GOP to select a replacement.

Take it for what it's worth coming from a 3rd party observer who has no horse in your left vs right race.

She said this December 18, 2024 at a retirement ceremony. Who knows what is true though these days with the internet information. Maybe this never happened. More likely a smear campaign from the left because their guy lost.
