Deer stands are often named for something that first pops into someone's head when trying to identify where it's located, such as the Clay Hill, Twin Pines, Wooden Bridge, etc.
And then there are stands that earn their names from certain events like The Outhouse, Drunk Stand, and Lost Stand.
