That guy's is pretty funny.

So far Texas picked up a punter from Utah, DT from Purdue, and a LB from Arkansas. They also retained Sedir Mitchell, which was huge.

Everyone going wild over portal. A&M picked up a Georgia guy who quit on his team, started 9 games. I wouldn’t touch that guy.

But for how long? If they get crossways with a coach during spring ball, they will be a long gone Sally. The only time they may be able to be counted on is when they are a senior and 5 games into their last year of eligibility and even then, some of them will quit because they were mistreated, did not get to play enough, etc. Every time the cards are shuffled, you get a different hand and this keeps the hand from developing into a top notch team. Bunch of t_ _ _ y babies being attended to by a bunch of coaches that want to recruit their team rather than develop it over the years.

Yes, I have read it numerous places also, but after the year he has had compared to the year he expected to have, I see Ewers staying another year and entering the portal. His injury is one reason, Texas losing twice with him as the QB is another reason and his draft stock has been hurt by both of those reasons, but the best reason he enters the portal is that he is intimidated by Arch and I think Texas record up until now would have been at the worst the same with Arch playing instead of Ewers or maybe possibly UT's record would have been better with Arch as the QB. Where it will hurt Arch will be in experience next year when he is the starter, but he may fast track into being the starter and never look back. One reason that I believe Ewers is being destined into the NFL is that Sark wants him gone so that Arch can start with no controversy. I think Ewers knows Arch will be the QB next year and he needs to compete with that by transferring. If Ewers transfers and has a better year, his draft stock my go up. If he stays at UT, his playing time may go down. Plus if Ewers stays, I don't think Arch will stay. Pure speculation on my part. And that is not even considering that college is no longer the same beast as it used to be before players could get paid. College is probably a lot more fun for recognized players that are making good money and still being able to enjoy the college benefits.
